The food were delicious! The steamboat broth was tasty, and fish slices very fresh. The fried yam cubes were well done with lots of cashew nuts and green and red peppers! The sweet potato vegetable was also well cooked.
The fish Steamboat is the must order. The taste is still consistent from what I remembered. Soup is delicious especially on a cold rainy night. We also ordered the deep fried nan lu pork ribs and it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. Even the simple cabbage dish with fried garlic is really good!
The fish head steamboat is a must try. I'm not a fish lover but their charcoal fish head steamboat makes me keep drinking the soup. They are very generous with the portion.!

The star here is their Fish Head Steamboat and I forgot to take a photo. This menu is a must if you come to this place. The soup is very good with lots of ingredients (med size).
Deep Fried Nan Lu Pork Belly (Pic 1) is good, but it's just a normal deep-fried pork, nothing special about it. Will not recommend this dish.
But the rest of their dishes are pretty tasty and good.
Make sure to make a reservation if you wanna sit inside with AC.
First time trying and it seems like the kitchen crew is quite competent. The red grouper steamboat soup was nice and savoury with a decent amount of fish and vegetables. Although, if it was a whole red grouper, it was a small one.
As with all steamboats, the flavour builds as the soup simmers, so it tasted so much richer toward the end. Might be a good idea to have other dishes first and leave the steamboat for later.
We also had the sambal lala (clams), and hot plate tofu, which were really good. The only gripe I have is the strong dried mushroom flavour in the tofu dish but that’s subjective as some people like that taste.
Do note, it’s a little pricey, with the three dishes and 2 bottles of beer exceeding $160.
Also, you will very likely come out smelling of charcoal smoke.
Reservation is the best way to go for this restaurant as they are always packed. The fish steamboat (鱼头炉) - we chosen red groupa is good. The soup is very flavorful and ample fresh fish, veggies, yam! Soup is refilled free and staff were helpful to come over and helped with that without prompting:) the cooked dishes we have chosen are very nice too (see pics) - highly recommend the salted fish fried rice and ngoh hiong! Not sure what was the bill damage as my friends bought me this dinner for my belated bday celebration 😍 the desserts are limited- only gui ling gao and mango pudding- please do not try that- desserts failed drastically😂😂 very artificially taste. So just go for the cook food! 👍🏻
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful restaurant that served exceptional seafood hotpot. I must say, the fish hotpot was absolutely delicious, with a rich and flavorful broth that left a lasting impression. The pork and chicken wings were equally delightful, cooked to perfection and bursting with mouthwatering flavors. One standout dish was the unique tofu with a special and flavorful sauce that I had never tasted before. It added a distinct and delightful twist to the meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its delectable seafood hotpot and its wide range of tasty dishes.
My second visit to the restaurant - first time was lunch and then dinner another day.
Both visits, I was served real good fish steamboat. They do not use MSG - correct me if I’m wrong. Flavourful and fish was also very fresh!!
Other dishes like lala, tofu, fried egg omelette and chicken was good - couldn’t find fault with any dish!
